I found a place...

I have found a place beyond
myself where I am not.
I learned to break a bond
and untie a tight bound knot.
This place was always there
above this physical plane.
Last night I rose up in the air
and ventured far away from my brain.
I saw the things I can't see
with these orbs stuck in my head.
I spoke to those I can not speak to
because they are transitionally dead.
I saw the fabric of it all
and looked down upon its form.
I floated where I thought I'd fall
and was naked but still warm.
When I gazed further away
I saw millions of tiny stars.
I heard the music welcome me to stay
in melodic musical bars.
I journeyed away from the "real"
and ventured into the truth.
The stars I saw I began to feel
and needed no more proof.
Soon I was among the glowing
and they weren't what they seemed.
They were people I don't remember knowing
but were familiar as they gleamed.
They encircled me with hope and love
until love's light erupted from within me.
Out of the glow emerged flaming balls above
and all down my shimmering body.
The six flaming spheres burned brighter
and I felt energy in every cell.
The glow around me grew tighter
and into me the firey spheres fell
into my head, eyes, and throat...
into my heart, gut, and private area.
The next thing I knew I was in a boat
floating past trees, and smelling plumeria.
I was in a garden pond of water crystal clear
with fish and flowers and trees and a herd of grazing white deer.
The boat drifted towards the bank
and I stepped out onto the grass.
The boat slowly filled and sank
beneath the water of liquid glass.
I saw a woman in a white robe
under a willow singing.
She held a vibrant bluish globe
that glowed as it was ringing.
The lady held out her hand
as I approached where she stood.
She held out the orb and told me to understand
and I understood.
The orb was my life's meaning
as I chose it to be.
She told me I must look into it- seeing
what I was here to see.
I saw myself bruised and beat
surrounded by a waste land.
I was trying to get to my feet,
but I couldn't seem to stand.
I looked towards Heaven and wailed
"Take me away from here!"
The image within the orb paled
and the lady handed me the sphere.
She told me I must find my strenght
before my purpose was eternally lost.
I must try and survive at any length
and stand at any cost.
A cold wind blew and we both turned
and she told me I must go.
I must use the knowledge that I learned
and reap the life I sow.
If I stay any longer
I shall not be able to leave.
I felt a pull on my head grow stronger
and I was flying faster than I could believe.
I was being pulled faster and faster by a single silver thread
that came from somewhere before me and ended in my forehead.
I was in a tunnel speeding towards where it ends.
Before me was a wispy veil strewn across my way.
The veil stripped me of my shimmering glowing friends
as I passed through it okay.
I no longer glowed as I flew quickly into the light
I hit it and sat up in my bed gasping and holding my chest tight.
I felt that people who loved me
were here just a minute ago.
I couldn't figure who they could be
but, I could feel their presence, I know.
I felt really well and good
with no remnants of my previous strife.
I remembered and still understood
that I must make the most of my Life.
I don't know where I went
or if I would revisit that space
between this world and where I spent
some time in that new place.
